Students who are identified through a referral process will receive special educational programming. The referral may be made by a parent, teacher or administrator that have collected data to support an identification. In some cases, students may self-refer. If a referral is made, the parents or student (if the student is over the age of 18) will be notified. Consent for assessment of the disability is required by the parent or student if they are over the age of 18.
